A 40-year-old man was arrested for attacking another person with a knife allegedly when the victim refused to buy him a ticket for Salman Khan-starrer Antim: The Final Truth, police said on Tuesday.
The accused, Syed Jiyauddin, is a resident of Chandni Mahal and previously involved in 27 cases. He used to rob people by threatening or attacking them with multi-purpose knife, they said.
Police said that being a fan of Hindi films, the accused wanted to watch a movie show at a cinema hall here. But having no money, he approached the victim with a knife to arrange a ticket for him.
According to police, the incident took place on November 28 with Ajay who had come to watch a movie. At about 7.15 pm, while he was standing outside the cinema hall, the accused came near him and asked him to get a ticket for the movie. When the victim resisted, the accused attacked him with a knife and robbed him of his wallet containing Rs 1,790 along with essential IDs.
The injured man was sent to a nearby hospital for treatment and on inquiry and based on his complaint, a case was registered in Central Delhi's Daryaganj, said Shweta Chauhan, Deputy Commissioner of Police (Central).
The accused was arrested the same day by a patrolling team on duty near the cinema hall and spotted the injured man and another man raising an alarm, she said.
The weapon of offence was recovered along with the victim's wallet, she added.
"During interrogation, Jiyauddin disclosed that he had recently been released from Tihar Jail after serving five years' imprisonment in a 2016 robbery case.
"He is addicted to smack and had no money to fund his addiction, so he arranged a multi-utility knife to rob people," the DCP said.

Every year, World AIDS Day is observed on 1 December to highlight the inequalities that lead to Acquired Immunodeficiency Syndrome (AIDS), to create awareness about the infection and to remember those who died from the virus. Set in mid-1980s Texas, actor Matthew McConaughey plays an electrician who is shocked to know that he has AIDS and only 30 days to live. The movie chronicles McConaughey's will to live as he refuses to give up on life and tries every move possible to save himself from trying therapies to even smuggling unapproved drugs for himself and other AIDS patients. McConaughey won an Oscar for his stellar performance in this film.

डेल्टा वैरिएंट से 6 गुना ताकतवर बताये जा रहे हैं कोरोना वायरस के नये वैरिएंट ओमिक्रॉन को लेकर भारत में अलर्ट जारी कर दिया गया है। सभी राज्यों को निर्देश जारी किए गये हैं कि वो इसको लेकर सतर्कता बरतें और टेस्टिंग बढ़ाएं। वहीं इस बीच दक्षिण अफ्रीका और जोखिम वाले देशों में महाराष्ट्र पहुंचे 6 यात्री कोरोना वायरस से संक्रमित पाये गए हैं।
बता दें कि ये सभी यात्री उन देशों से आये हैं जहां ओमिक्रॉन वैरिएंट के मामलों की पुष्टि हो चुकी है। मंगलवार को महाराष्ट्र स्वास्थ्य विभाग की तरफ से दी गई जानकारी के मुताबिक दक्षिण अफ्रीका और बाकी देशों से आए ये यात्री मुंबई महानगर पालिका, कल्याण-डोंबिवली, मीरा-भयंदर और पुणे नगर निगम सीमाओं में मिले हैं। वहीं नाइजीरिया से पहुंचे दो यात्री पुणे से सटे पिंपरी-चिंचवाड़ निगम क्षेत्र में मिले हैं।
पाये गए हल्के लक्षण: स्वास्थ्य विभाग ने कहा है कि संक्रमित पाए गए लोगों के नमूने जिनोम सिक्वेंसिंग के लिए भेजे गए हैं। इन यात्रियों के सम्पर्क में आने वाले बाकी के व्यक्तियों का पता लगाया जा रहा है। वहीं संक्रमित पाये गए लोगों में हल्के लक्षण देखे गये हैं।
सात दिनों का क्वारंटीन अनिवार्य: गौरतलब है कि ओमिक्रॉन के खतरे को देखते हुए भारत सरकार ने “जोखिम” वाले देशों से आने वाले लोगों के लिए नये यात्रा दिशा-निर्देश जारी किये हैं। महाराष्ट्र सरकार ने कहा कि ऐसे अंतरराष्ट्रीय यात्रियों को अनिवार्य रूप से सात-दिनों तक क्वांरटीन में रहना होगा। अगर यात्री संक्रमित पाये जाते हैं तो उन्हें अस्पताल भेजा जायेगा। वहीं निगेटिव रिपोर्ट आने पर घर में ही सात दिनों के लिए क्वारंटीन रहना होगा।
टेस्टिंग बढ़ाने पर जोर: यात्रियों को यह भी बताना होगा कि पिछले 15 दिनों में उन्होंने किन-किन देशों की यात्रा की हैं। बता दें कि भारत में कोरोना के नये वैरिएंट ओमिक्रॉन को लेकर गृह सचिव ने राज्यों को निर्देश दिया कि मौजूदा कोविड -19 रोकथाम उपायों को 31 दिसंबर तक जारी रखा जाना चाहिए। वहीं मध्य प्रदेश की राज्य सरकार ने आपात बैठक कर टेस्टिंग बढ़ाने पर जोर दिया है।
देश की राजधानी दिल्ली में अब पेट्रोल सस्ता मिलेगा। बुधवार (एक दिसंबर, 2021) को मुख्यमंत्री अरविंद केजरीवाल के नेतृत्व वाली आम आदमी पार्टी (आप) की सरकार ने पेट्रोल पर वैट को घटा दिया।
तेल पर वैट यानी वैल्यू ऐडेड टैक्स को 19.40 फीसदी कर दिया गया है, जो कि पहले 30 प्रतिशत हुआ करता था। वैट में कमी आने के बाद शहर में पेट्रोल का दाम आठ रुपए तक हो जाएगा। हालांकि, तेल की नई दरें आज रात मध्यरात्रि में अमल में आएंगी।
दिल्ली में मौजूदा समय में पेट्रोल 103.97 रुपए में बिक रहा है। आठ रुपए सस्ता होने के बाद पेट्रोल का संशोधित/नया दाम 95.97 रुपए हो जाएगा, जबकि इंडियन ऑयल कॉरपोरेशन के अनुसार डीजल की दर 86.67 रुपए थी।
वहीं, मुंबई में पेट्रोल 109.98 रुपए प्रति लीटर बिकता है और डीजल का दाम 94.14 रुपए प्रति लीटर है। मेट्रो शहरों में मुंबई में ईंधन की दरें सबसे ज्यादा हैं। मूल्य वर्धित कर या वैट के कारण राज्यों में दरें अलग-अलग हैं।
वैसे, लगातार 27 दिनों तक ईंधन की कीमतों में कोई बदलाव नहीं किया गया। चार नवंबर, 2021 को इससे पहले सरकार ने पेट्रोल और डीजल पर उत्पाद शुल्क में कटौती की थी, ताकि दरों को रिकॉर्ड-उच्च स्तर से थोड़ा नीचे लाया जा सके।
अलीगढ़ मुस्लिम यूनिवर्सिटी के एक छात्र ने आरोप लगाया है कि पीएम मोदी के भाषण की तारीफ करने पर उससे उसकी पीएचडी की डिग्री वापस मांगी जा रही है। छात्र का आरोप है कि उसे वास्तविक डिग्री के बजाए एक सामान्य विषय की डिग्री दी जा रही है। दूसरी तरफ विश्वविद्यालय का कहना है कि उसे मानवीय चूक से गलत डिग्री पहले दे दी गई थी, लेकिन अब उसे करेक्ट करके नई डिग्री दी जा रही है। छात्र इसके खिलाफ हाईकोर्ट में दस्तक देकर न्याय की गुहार लगाई है।
छात्र का नाम डॉ. दानिश रहीम है और उसके मुताबिक उसने अलीगढ़ मुस्लिम यूनिवर्सिटी से डिपार्टमेंट ऑफ लिंग्विस्टिक्स से पीएचडी की है। उसे यह डिग्री 9 मार्च 2021 को एवार्ड की गई थी। उसने कहा कि उससे पहले उसके साथी डॉ. मारिया नईम को नवंबर 2020 को यह डिग्री एवार्ड की गई थी। डिग्री एवार्ड होने के छह महीने बाद 4 अगस्त 2021 को उसे एक लेटर मिला, जिसमें बताया गया है कि आपको जो डिग्री दी गई है, वह गलत और अंजाने में दी गई है। आप लिंग्विस्टिक की डिग्री जमा करके लैंगुएज ऑफ मार्केटिंग एंड एडवरटाइजिंग (LAM) की डिग्री ले लें।
दानिश ने मीडिया से बात करते हुए कहा कि “यह सुनकर मैं परेशान हो गया, आश्चर्यचकित रह गया। फिर मैंने पांच-छह महीने पीछे गया और यह सोचा कि ऐसा हुआ क्यों तो इस नतीजे पर पहुंचा हूं कि यूनिवर्सिटी के 100 साला प्रोग्राम में पीएम और वीसी की तारीफ करने की उसे अब सजा मिल रही है।”
उसने बताया कि “मेरे वाइवा यानी 8 फरवरी से दो-तीन दिन पहले मेरे चेयरमैन ने मुझे बुलाया था और कहा था कि आप एक स्टूडेंट है और आपको किसी पोलिटिकल पार्टी के फेवर और एगेंस्ट में नहीं बोलना चाहिए। आपने जो इलेक्ट्रानिक मीडिया को एक इंटरव्यू दिया था, उससे आपके हावभाव से पता चलता है कि आप राइट विंग के आदमी हैं।”
दानिश का कहना है कि यह सुनकर वह खामोश हो गया। उसके बाद उसका वाइवा हुआ। डिग्री एवार्ड हो गई। उसके बाद चार अगस्त को एक लेटर मिला, तो वह परेशान हो गए।
छात्र ने पीएम, सीएम को भेजा लेटर, कहा कि विश्वविद्यालय से न्याय दिलाएं
उन्होंने कहा, “मैंने लेटर का जवाब एएमयू को दिया। मेरे साथी ने भी जवाब दिया। मेरी एएमयू में कोई सुनवाई नहीं हुई, मजबूर होकर मैंने हाईकोर्ट का दरवाजा खटखटाया है।” कहा कि “मैंने देश के पीएम, सीएम और हायर अथारिटी को भी पत्र लिखा और उनसे निवेदन किया है कि मेरी जिंदगी से न खेलें। मुझे जो डिग्री ईमानदारी से मिल चुकी है, उसे न लें और कोई ऐसी वैसी डिग्री न दें, जो वैलिड न हो। और एएमयू में जो लोग मेरे खिलाफ साजिश कर रहे हैं, उन पर कार्रवाई हो।”
उत्तर प्रदेश सरकार की दिसंबर के दूसरे सप्ताह से युवाओं को निःशुल्क स्मार्टफोन और टैबलेट देने की योजना है। इसके लिए डीजी शक्ति नाम से एक पोर्टल बनाया गया है, जिसे जल्द ही मुख्यमंत्री योगी आदित्यनाथ लॉन्च करेंगे। एक सरकारी बयान के मुताबिक इसी पोर्टल के माध्यम से स्मार्टफोन और टैबलेट का वितरण और छात्रों को भविष्य में पढ़ाई के लिए विषयवस्तु दी जाएगी। इसके अलावा स्मार्टफोन और टैबलेट के बारे में समय-समय पर छात्रों को उनके मोबाइल नंबर और मेल पर सूचना दी जाएगी।
समाजवादी पार्टी द्वारा भाजपा पर छात्रों को लैपटॉप और टैबलेट उपलब्ध कराने के चुनावी वादे को न पूरा करने के आरोपों के बीच सरकार यह कदम उठा रही है। सपा का कहना है कि मुख्यमंत्री (आदित्यनाथ) खुद लैपटॉप संचालित करने में असमर्थ हैं, इसलिये वह इसे बांटने में रूचि नहीं ले रहे हैं। सपा प्रमुख ने 29 अक्टूबर को अपने संसदीय क्षेत्र आजमगढ़ में इंटर-कॉलेज में आयोजित एक समारोह में कहा था, “अगर वह (आदित्यनाथ) लैपटॉप चलाना जानते होते, तो वह उन्हें पहले ही वितरित कर देते।”
यादव ने कहा था कि 2017 के उत्तर प्रदेश विधानसभा चुनाव में भाजपा के घोषणापत्र में कहा गया था कि आगे की पढ़ाई करने वाले छात्रों को मुफ्त डेटा के साथ लैपटॉप और टैबलेट कंप्यूटर दिए जाएंगे और उन संस्थानों में वाई-फाई कनेक्शन स्थापित किए जाएंगे। मंगलवार को जारी बयान के मुताबिक पंजीकरण से लेकर स्मार्टफोन और टैबलेट वितरण तक पूरी व्यवस्था निःशुल्क है। सरकार की ओर से स्मार्टफोन और टैबलेट की खरीद के लिए जेम पोर्टल पर अब तक का सबसे बड़ा टेंडर जारी किया गया है।
47 सौ करोड़ की लागत से खरीदे जाने वाले स्मार्टफोन और टैबलेट के लिए कई नामी कंपनियों ने टेंडर किया है। इसमें टैबलेट के लिए विशटल (आईरिस), सैमसंग (विजन) और एसर (सेलकॉन), स्मार्टफोन के लिए लावा, सैमसंग (सेलकॉन) और सैमसंग (यूनाइटेड) ने टेंडर दाखिल किया है। तकनीकी जांच के बाद योग्य फर्मों की वित्तीय निविदा खोली जाएगी।
बयान के मुताबिक टेंडर में चयनित कंपनियों को पहली खेप में कम से कम ढाई लाख टैबलेट की आपूर्ति करनी होगी। हालांकि स्मार्टफोन के लिए चयनित कंपनियों को पहली खेप में कम से कम पांच लाख स्मार्टफोन की आपूर्ति करनी होगी। इस वर्ष 23 अक्टूबर को,मुख्यमंत्री योगी आदित्यनाथ ने कहा था कि उनकी सरकार नवंबर के अंत तक युवाओं के बीच टैबलेट और स्मार्टफोन का वितरण शुरू कर देगी।
राज्यसभा में 11 अगस्त को हंगामा करने के आरोप में 12 सांसदों को सभापति वेंकैया नायडू द्वारा निलंबित कर दिया गया है। इस निलंबन को रद्द कराने को लेकर विपक्षी नेताओं ने संसद परिसर में महात्मा गांधी की प्रतिमा के सामने अपना विरोध प्रदर्शन किया। इसमें कांग्रेस के पूर्व राष्ट्रीय अध्यक्ष राहुल गांधी भी शामिल हुए। बता दें कि निलंबित हुए सांसद शीतकालीन सत्र में हिस्सा नहीं ले सकेंगे।
वहीं राहुल गांधी के अलावा राज्यसभा में नेता प्रतिपक्ष मल्लिकार्जुन खड़गे, समाजवादी पार्टी के नेता रामगोपाल यादव, द्रमुक के टीआर बालू, राष्ट्रवादी कांग्रेस पार्टी की सुप्रिया सुले और कई अन्य सांसद भी मौजूद थे। विपक्षी सांसदों ने ‘वी वान्ट जस्टिस’, ‘निलंबन वापस लो’ के नारे लगाए। कांग्रेस और कई अन्य विपक्षी दलों का कहना है कि 12 सदस्यों का निलंबन रद्द किया जाना चाहिए ताकि सदन सुचारू रूप से चल सके।
इस दौरान मल्लिकार्जुन खड़गे ने कहा कि हम राज्यसभा के 12 विपक्षी सदस्यों का निलंबन रद्द करने की मांग कर रहे हैं। हम एक बैठक करेंगे और भविष्य की कार्रवाई तय करेंगे। वहीं इससे पहले उन्होंने मंगलवार को राज्यसभा के सभापति एम वेंकैया नायडू को एक पत्र के जरिए आग्रह किया था कि सभापति 12 सदस्यों को निलंबित किये जाने के फैसले पर पुनर्विचार करें और निलंबन रद्द करें।

बता दें कि संसद के शीतकालीन सत्र की 29 नवंबर को शुरुआत हुई। इसके पहले दिन कांग्रेस और तृणमूल कांग्रेस सहित अन्य विपक्षी दलों के 12 सदस्यों को पिछले मॉनसून सत्र के दौरान ‘‘अशोभनीय आचरण’’ करने की वजह से, वर्तमान सत्र की शेष अवधि तक के लिए राज्यसभा से निलंबित कर दिया गया।
जिन सदस्यों को निलंबित किया गया है उनमें मार्क्सवादी कम्युनिस्ट पार्टी (माकपा) के इलामारम करीम, कांग्रेस की फूलों देवी नेताम, छाया वर्मा, रिपुन बोरा, राजमणि पटेल, सैयद नासिर हुसैन, अखिलेश प्रताप सिंह, तृणमूल कांग्रेस की डोला सेन और शांता छेत्री, शिव सेना की प्रियंका चतुर्वेदी और अनिल देसाई तथा भारतीय कम्युनिस्ट पार्टी के विनय विस्वम शामिल हैं।
संसद की एक समिति ने रेलवे में यात्रा संबंधी सीटों की ‘तत्काल योजना’ के संबंध में दलालों की संभावित संलिप्तता की शिकायतों का उल्लेख करते हुए सरकार से इस योजना के दुरूपयोग को रोकने के लिये एक सुदृढ़ निगरानी तंत्र बनाने एवं इसमें बेईमान तत्वों को शामिल होने से रोकने का प्रबंध करने की सिफारिश की।
‘भारतीय रेल यात्री आरक्षण प्रणाली’ विषय पर लोकसभा में पेश रेल संबंधी स्थायी समिति की रिपोर्ट में यह बात कही गई है। रिपोर्ट के अनुसार, समिति ने सरकार से तत्काल टिकटों पर लिये जाने वाले शुल्क को यात्रा की दूरी के अनुसार तय करने का उपाय करने तथा फ्लेक्सी/डायनेमिक किराये के मूल्य निर्धारण पर विवेकपूर्ण ढंग से निर्णय करने को कहा। इसमें कहा गया है कि रेल में उन यात्रियों को आरक्षण प्रदान करने के लिये तत्काल योजना शुरू की गई थी जिन्हें अल्प सूचना पर यात्रा करनी होती है।
रिपोर्ट के अनुसार, समिति ने इस योजना की सराहना करते हुए इसमें दलालों की संभावित संलिप्तता को लेकर आशंका प्रकट की जिनकी बेईमान गतिविधियों से वास्तविक यात्रियों को इस योजना का लाभ मिलने में कठिनाइयां हो सकती हैं। समिति की राय है कि रेलवे को भौतिक और साइबर दोनों क्षेत्रों में इन तत्वों द्वारा उत्पन्न खतरों के प्रति हमेशा सतर्क रहना चाहिए। समिति ने मंत्रालय से इसके दुरूपयोग को रोकने के लिये एक सुदृढ़ निगरानी तंत्र बनाने एवं इसमें बेईमान तत्वों को शामिल होने से रोकने का प्रबंध करने की सिफारिश की।
तत्काल टिकट ‘पहले आओ, पहले पाओ’ के आधार पर प्रीमियम शुल्क के भुगतान पर बुक किया जाता है। वर्तमान में इसे रेल यात्री आरक्षण प्रणाली (पीआरएस) और भारतीय खानपान एवं पर्यटन निगम (आईआरसीटीसी) वेबसाइट से एक दिन पहले एसी श्रेणी के लिये सुबह 10 बजे और गैर एसी श्रेणी के लिये 11 बजे बुक किया जाता है।
रिपोर्ट के अनुसार, समिति ने यह भी कहा कि तत्काल टिकटों पर लिया जाने वाला शुल्क थोड़ा अनुचित है और विशेष रूप से उन यात्रियों पर भारी बोझ डाल रहा है जो आर्थिक रूप से कमजोर हैं तथा तात्कालिकता में अपने परिजनों से मिलने के लिये अथवा बहुत कम दूरी के लिये भी यात्रा करने की मजबूरी होती है।
समिति ने कहा कि मंत्रालय यात्रा की दूरी के अनुसार यथानुपात किराये के लिये उपाय करे। उसने यह भी कहा कि मंत्रालय व्यापक जनहित में फ्लेक्सी/डायनेमिक किराया तंत्र की समीक्ष करे और किराये के मूल्य निर्धारण का विवेकपूर्ण ढंग से निर्णय करे जो संतुलित और समान स्तर पर आधारित हो।
रिपोर्ट के अनुसार, समिति ने कहा कि तथ्यों को देखते हुए फ्लेक्सी/डायनेमिक मूल्य निर्धाारण कुछ भेदभावपूर्ण प्रतीत होता है क्योंकि राजधानी, शताब्दी और दुरंतो का किराया अन्य मेल और एक्सप्रेस ट्रेनों की तुलना में पहले से अधिक है और बजट एयरलाइनों की तुलना में बराबर या कुछ मामलों में अधिक भी है। समिति का मत है कि बढ़ी हुई किराया संरचना के साथ मामूली आय वाले या आर्थिक रूप से वंचित रेल उपयोगकर्ता इस किराये को वहन नहीं कर पायेंगे एवं इन ट्रेनों का विकल्प नहीं चुनेंगे।
“मार्च 21 तक 44 मार्गों पर 400 से अधिक ‘किसान रेल सेवाएं’ संचालित हुईं”: सरकार ने बताया कि फल, सब्जियों, मांस, कुक्कुट एवं मत्स्य तथा डेयरी उत्पादों की सुरक्षित आवाजाही के लिये इस वर्ष मार्च तक 44 मार्गों पर 400 से अधिक ‘किसान रेल सेवाएं’ संचालित की गईं जिनमें करीब 1.3 लाख टन वस्तुओं का परिवहन किया गया। लोकसभा में पेश रेल मंत्रालय संबंधी स्थायी समिति की रिपोर्ट के अनुसार, किसान रेल के बारे में सरकार ने समिति को यह जानकारी दी।
उत्तर प्रदेश के सहारनपुर में दूसरी शादी करने जा रहे एक शख्स की पहली पत्नी ने बारात में पहुंचकर जमकर हंगामा किया। बता दें कि मामला सहारनपुर के जनकपुरी थाना क्षेत्र का है। जहां राधा विहार में बारात लेकर पहुंचे निशांत कांबोज शादी के मंडप से हवालात तक पहुंच गए। दरअसल एक युवती ने आरोप लगाया है कि निशांत के साथ उसका पिछले 10 सालों से रिश्ता है और उन दोनों ने कोर्ट मैरिज की है।
ऐसे में जब निशांत कंबोज दूसरी युवती से शादी करने के लिए बारात लेकर पहुंचा तो पहली पत्नी अपने परिजनों के साथ शादी रोकने पहुंच गई। जहां पर खूब हंगामा हुआ। थाना जनकपुरी क्षेत्र में युवती ने पुलिस को दी अपनी तहरीर में बताया कि उसका अफेयर गांव डंडोली खेड़ा के निशांत के साथ 10 सालों से चल रहा था।
दो साल पहले हुई थी कोर्ट मैरिज: युवती ने कहा है कि दो साल पहले दोनों के बीच कोर्ट मैरिज हुई थी। युवती का कहना है कि कोर्ट मैरिज के बाद उनके परिजनों ने विधि विधान से भी शादी कराई थी। हालांकि आरोप यह भी है कि निशांत कांबोज ने अपने परिजनों को कोर्ट मैरिज के बारे में बताया नहीं था और ना ही कभी युवती को अपने परिजनों को मिलवाया।
आरोप के मुताबिक दूसरी शादी कर रहे निशांत जब बारात लेकर पहुंचे तो सब सामान्य था। लेकिन फेरों के समय ही पहली पत्नी बारात में पहुंच गई और जमकर बवाल काटा। मौके पर पुलिस पहुंची और निशांत को अपने साथ थाने ले आई। पहली पत्नी का आरोप है कि निशांत ने दो महीने पहले दवाई के जरिए उसके चार माह के बच्चे का गर्भपात कराया था।
बिहारः शादी में जयमाला के दौरान हर्ष फायरिंग, पार्षद की पत्नी को लगीं दो गोलियां, मौत: शादी से जुड़ा एक और मामला सामने आया है, जहां दूल्हा-दूल्हन के सामने ही एक वार्ड पार्षद की पत्नी की हर्ष फायरिंग के दौरान मौत हो गई। बता दें कि बिहार के पटना से सटे दानापुर नगर परिषद के वार्ड संख्या-15 के पार्षद डॉ. सुजीत कुमार की पत्नी सन्नी देवी की हर्ष फायरिंग के दौरान दो गोली लगने से मौत हो गई।
इस मामले में पुलिस ने वीडियो के आधार पर दो लोगों की गिरफ्तार किया है। इनके पास से लाइसेंसी रायफल और एक लाइसेंसी पिस्टल बरामद, 65 पिस्टल की गोली और 100 रायफल की गोली भी जब्त की गई है। यह घटना जयमाल के वक्त हुई।

Phir Milenge–2004
Inspired by American film ‘Philadelphia’, Phire Milenge is directed by actress Revathi and features Shilpa Shetty, Salman Khan and Abhishek Bachchan in pivotal roles. The story revolves around Tamanna Sahni (Shilpa Shetty) who loses her job after her employer comes to know that she is HIV positive. She decides to files a complaint against the employer and meets Tarun Anand (Abhishek, who accepts her case. Unfortunately, they lose the case but they refile it in the High Court and manages to win.
AIDS Jaago– 2007
AIDS Jaago has been directed by Mira Nair and Vishal Bhardwaj and stars Farhan Akhtar and Santosh. It is a compilation of four short-films that aims to spread awareness about HIV/AIDS. The films – Migrationo, Blood Brothers, Positive and Prarambha – come from different parts of the country and highlights different points about the disease. The films feature Raima Sen, Ayesha Takia, Shiney Ahuja, Irrfan Khan, Sameera Reddy, and Pankaj Kapur, among others.
My Brother…Nikhil– 2005
The film is based on two important subjects – Homosexuality and AIDS. Directed by Onir, it stars Sanjay Suri and Juhi Chawla in lead roles. My Brother…Nikhil is based on the life of Dominic D’Souza, a worker at World Wildlife Fund and an AIDS activist. His life changes after being diagnosed with HIV and his parents disown him, friends move away, he is removed from his swimming team and even arrested just because he is HIV positive. He is forced to live in isolation. The only person to stand by him is his sister Anamika (Juhi Chawla), her boyfriend Sam (Gautam Kapoor) and his boyfriend Nigel D’Costa (Purab Kohli).
Dus Kahaniyaan – Zahir– 2007
Dus Kahaniyaan, is an anthology of ten short films directed by six directors. One of the films titled Zahir, directed by Sanjay Gupta, revolves around ‘AIDS’. The film features Dia Mirza and Manoj Bajpayee. Zahir (Manoj) is a writer who comes to reside in at a friend’s apartment where he meets Sia, who lives on the same floor as him. They become friends and eventually fall in love. But Sia rejects Zahir. One night when he visits a bar with his friends, he comes to know that Sia a bar dancer. Frustrated he visits her apartment and despite her attempts to explain him the truth, he rapes her. The next morning when Zahir wakes up he finds a note from Sia that explains ‘AIDS’ as the reason for her rejection and she cared for his health and wellbeing. The story is narrated by Zahir who reveals that Sia passed away two years back and he is now waiting for his death.
68 Pages– 2007
The Sridhar Rangayan film is based on HIV/AIDS counsellor and her clients. It reflects how society stigmatises and shuns those diagnosed with HIV/AIDS and those who are different. The film also tells the story of the counsellor (essayed by Mauli Ganguly) who avoids emotional attachment with her clients but finds difficult to remain unaffected. She expresses her feelings in ‘68 pages’ of her personal diary.
7th Pay Commission Latest News in Hindi: लोकसभा में मंगलवार (30 नवंबर, 2021) को उच्च न्यायालय एवं उच्चतम न्यायालय (वेतन एवं सेवा शर्त) संशोधन विधेयक 2021 पेश किया गया। इसमें यह स्पष्ट किया गया है कि उच्च एवं उच्चतम न्यायालय के न्यायाधीशों को पेंशन की अतिरिक्त मात्रा या परिवार पेंशन के लिये कोई हकदारी सदैव उस माह की पहली तारीख से होगी जब पेंशन भोगी या कुटुम्ब पेंशनभोगी निर्दिष्ट आयु पूरी कर लेता है।
लोकसभा में विधि एवं न्याय मंत्री किरण रिजीजू ने विपक्षी सदस्यों के शोर-शराबे के बीच उच्च न्यायालय एवं उच्चतम न्यायालय (वेतन एवं सेवा शर्त) संशोधन विधेयक 2021 पेश किया। विधेयक के उद्देश्यों एवं कारणों में कहा गया है कि उच्च न्यायालय एवं उच्चतम न्यायालय (वेतन एवं सेवा शर्त) अधिनियम 2009 की 17ख एवं 16ख में क्रमश: अंत:स्थापित किया गया था जिसमें प्रत्येक सेवानिवृत्त न्यायाधीश या उनकी मृत्यु के पश्चात उसका कुटुम्ब उसमें निर्दिष्ट मान के अनुरूप पेंशन या कुटुम्ब पेंशन की अतिरिक्त मात्रा का हकदार होगा।
इसी के अनुसार, उच्च न्यायालय एवं उच्चतम न्यायालय के सेवानिवृत्त न्यायाधीशों की पेंशन की अतिरिक्त मात्रा को यथास्थिति 80 वर्ष, 85 वर्ष 90 वर्ष और 100 वर्ष की आयु पूरी कर लेने पर मंजूर किया जा रहा है। इसमें कहा गया है कि उच्च न्यायालय के एक सेवानिवृत्त न्यायाधीश देवेन्द्र दत्त ज्ञानी द्वारा दायर रिट याचिका में गुवाहाटी उच्च न्यायालय ने 15 मार्च 2018 के अपने आदेश में कहा कि पूर्वोत्तर उच्च न्यायालय न्यायाधीश अधिनियम की धारा 17ख के अनुसार पहली श्रेणी में अतिरिक्त पेंशन की मात्रा का फायदा किसी सेवानिवृत्त न्यायाधीश को उनकी अस्सी वर्ष की आयु पूरी होने के पहले दिन से उपलब्ध होगा।
इसके बाद, मध्य प्रदेश उच्च न्यायालय ने भी भारत का उच्चतम न्यायालय एवं उच्च न्यायालय सेवानिवृत्त न्यायाधीश संघ द्वारा दायर रिट याचिका में 3 दिसंबर 2020 को दिये आदेश में इस संबंध में उल्लेख किया। विधेयक के उद्देश्यों एवं कारणों में कहा गया है कि पूर्वोत्तर अधिनियम की धारा 17ख एवं 16ख को अंत:स्थापित करने का विधायी आशय सेवानिवृत्त न्यायाधीश को उस मास की पहली तारीख से पेंशन की अतिरिक्त मात्रा का फायदा देना था जिसको वह मान के पहले स्तम्भ में निर्दिष्ट आयु पूरी कर लेता है।
बिहार के मुजफ्फरपुर के जूरन छपरा स्थित आई हॉस्पिटल में हुए मोतिया बिंद के ऑपरेशन में 65 लोगों की आंखों की रोशनी चली गई है। बता दें कि यह ऑपरेशन 22 नवंबर को हुआ था। हालत इस कदर गंभीर है कि 12 लोगों की आंखें तक निकालनी पड़ी। इसको लेकर अब विपक्ष सत्ता पक्ष पर हमलावर है।
बता दें कि मोतिया बिंद ऑपरेशन के एक हफ्ते बाद ही लोगों की आंखों की रोशनी चली गई। करीब दो दर्जन लोगों की आंखों में इंफेक्शन हो गया। इंफेक्शन इस तरह बढ़ा कि उनकी आंखें निकालनी पड़ी।
तेजस्वी यादव ने किया हमला: इसको लेकर राजद नेता और बिहार के पूर्व उपमुख्यमंत्री तेजस्वी यादव ने अपने एक ट्वीट में लिखा, “देश की सबसे बदहाल और फिसड्डी बिहार की स्वास्थ्य व्यवस्था का एक नजारा देखिए। मुजफ्फरपुर में 65 लोगों की आँखों का ऑपरेशन किया गया, 1 ही टेबल पर सबका ऑपरेशन, रोशनी तो दूर की बात, सभी की आँखें निकालनी पड़ी। मुख्यमंत्री जी और भाजपाई स्वास्थ्य मंत्री को जनता कोई लेना-देना नहीं।”

हालांकि इस ऑपरेशन का मामला गरमाता देख अधिकारियों ने आनन-फानन में स्वास्थ्य विभाग की तीन सदस्यीय टीम बनाई है। वहीं राज्य के स्वास्थ्य मंत्री मंगल पांडेय ने कहा कि मुजफ्फरपुर आई कैंप मामले में जांच के आदेश दिये गए हैं। जांच में जो भी दोषी पाया जाएगा उसपर सख्त कार्रवाई होगी।
फर्जीवाड़े का अंदेशा: माना जा रहा है कि ऑपरेशन के दौरान डॉक्टर की लापरवाही के चलते लोगों की आंखों में इन्फेक्शन फैल गया। जिसके चलते उन्हें आंखों की रोशनी खोनी पड़ी। वहीं मिली जानकारी के मुताबिक मोतिया बिंद का ऑपरेशन करने के लिए डॉ एनडी साहू कॉन्ट्रैक्ट पर आये थे। जिन्होंने आई हॉस्पिटल में एक भी ऑपरेशन नहीं किया था। लेकिन आई-हॉस्पिटल में घटना के दिन से 27 नवंबर तक वो ऑपरेशन करते रहे। लोगों को इस मामले में फर्जीवाड़े का अंदेशा लग रहा है।
लालू प्रसाद यादव ने साधा नीतीश सरकार पर निशाना: राज्य की समस्याओं पर बिहार सरकार पर बरसते हुए आरजेडी प्रमुख लालू प्रसाद यादव ने एक ट्वीट में कहा, “डबल इंजन सरकार के ट्रबलधारी रहनुमाओं, बिहार में कम से कम किसानों की तो दुर्दशा को जानिए, पहचानिए और समझिए! वैसे उनकी समस्याओं को दूर करने में ना आपमें सामर्थ्य है, ना समझ और ना इच्छाशक्ति। अगर आप किसान को बीज और खाद ही उपलब्ध नहीं करा पा रहे है तो किस बात का सरकार और डबल इंजन?”
Money Heist, otherwise known as La Casa De Papel, is coming to an end but Netflix is planning to expand the heist universe. You read that right! During its global fan event, the makers of the series announced the new show titled Berlin. Netflix also announced that in the Korean version of Money Heist, Squid Game’s Park Hae-soo will play Berlin.
The show is set to launch in 2023. Netflix didn’t give out many details of the spinoff, but the Berlin character, otherwise called Andrés de Fonollosa, is the second-in-command of the Royal Mint of Spain heist and also planned the Bank of Spain heist, which he shared with The Professor and Palermo. Despite being a charmer, he is a sociopath, and is seen being at loggerheads with Tokyo and Nairobi more than once. He eventually manages to win over the viewers with his leadership qualities and zest to keep the gang together. He puts himself in the line of fire to protect his fellow gang members from the cops at the end of the first heist. But given the popularity Berlin achieved, the makers brought him back in flashbacks as the mastermind of the second and ongoing heist at the Bank of Spain.
Berlin’s love story and marriage to Tatiana, and the introduction of his son Rafael in the show recently, only piqued the interest of the audience, encouraging Netflix to greenlit a spin-off on the character.
For now, Berlin will return in Money Heist season 5 part 2, that marks curtains down of the globally hit crime drama on the streaming platform.
The series was created by Alex Pina and tells the story of the heists through the perspective of one of the robbers, Tokyo, played by Ursula Corbero. It also stars Álvaro Morte, Itziar Ituño, Miguel Herrán, Jaime Lorente, Esther Acebo, Enrique Arce, Rodrigo de la Serna, Darko Peric, Najwa Nimri, Hovik Keuchkerian, Luka Peros, Belén Cuesta, Fernando Cayo, Fernando Soto, Jose Manuel Poga and Mario de la Rosa.

Actor Amit Sadh said that he has tested positive for coronavirus. In a post on Instagram, the 38-year-old actor said that he is isolating himself at his residence.
"Despite utmost precautions, I have tested positive for covid-19. The symptoms are mild. Following the protocols, I have isolated myself and will be under home quarantine. "I am sure I will come back stronger and better out of this. Please stay safe and take care of yourself and others," Sadh wrote.
As soon as he shared the note, his well-wishers and friends posted messages in the comments section. “Get well soon, take care,” wrote Anushka Arora. Vindhya Tiwary commented, “Please take care.” Gautam Rode and Neeraj Gaba also wished Amit a speedy recovery.
On the work front, Amit Sadh has Breathe Season 3 in the pipeline. The actor had announced last month that he has started shooting for the third season of his popular Amazon Prime Video series Breathe, which also stars Abhishek Bachchan and Nithya Menen.

Jane Campion is a strangely elusive filmmaker. Not only is her work scarce and sporadic but she seems to want to subvert genres as if they are nothing but eggshells preventing cinema to crack open with dubiously chaotic energy. The first woman to ever win the Palme D or has, after a gap of ten years, made a western for Netflix. And as is the Campion way, it flips genre and gender roles on its head by setting a homoerotic story in the middle of a dry, rusty 1920s Montana ranch. The Power of the Dog, is fierce, brutal in its own way and wildly beautiful at the end of it all. Campion finds that rare, lyrical way to suppress everything the western genre obviates without losing its harsh, exterior coating. It is moving, tragic and stunning in the most revelatory way.
Phil played by Benedict Cumberbatch and George played by Jesse Plemons are the Burbank brothers, heirs to a surprisingly successful ranch in 1920s Montana. Phil is a bully, an instinctively toxic man who spares neither his subjects nor his brother. Cumberbatch injects the dirty skin of his character with the cold vein of remorselessness. There is no space for weak men in this world, and it’s an adage that Phil wears on his sleeve. George, played by the terrific Plemons on the other hand is a gentler, more accommodating soul who falls for Rose, a local widow played by the stunning Kirsten Dunst. Dunst has a teenage son, whose feminine yet quizzically deep habits make him the subject of both ridicule and intrigue in a world that only knows how to deal with the unforgiving external life of things rather than what holds them together on the inside.
Rose moves into the ranch along with her son, much to the disdain of Phil who goes out of his way to make her feel unwelcome. In a scene where Rose attempts to play a newly acquired piano, Phil competes with her, in a quietly revealing sequence that delivers both his angst and hidden artsy side. Dunst is entirely in her element here, as she finds her feet on a ranch that is overseen by a certain brand of masculinity. But while Phil is tough on the outside, there is a hidden side to the Burbank brothers that they evidently, refuse to discuss – they sleep on the same bed at night. To Phil, hiding in plain sight is the same survival tactic as it is to shoot someone in the dark of night. Perceptions matter, even to the fatalism of a bullet that knows not one target from the other.
As is Campion’s way, the film uses its geography to stunning effect, casually feeding you the claustrophobia of a land without any tangible form of vulnerability, maybe even love. Sure, the Burbank brothers live together, but is their possessiveness of each other out of fear of loneliness or simply affection for the unsaid. Westerns are always set within the language of gun toting villains, sheriffs and a rare brand of despotism that is as universal as it seems unforgiveable. In Campion’s film, no bullets are fired, no guns brandished, no laws broken, except the one – the law of naturalism, of love streaming through the gates of prejudice and persecution. Even the visual trick, after which the film is named, is so smoothly introduced into the fabric of the film it feels overwhelming simple and yet, eternally affecting. It’s again, a matter of perception, Campion tells us, a matter of seeing boundaries as the contours of being something people neither wish, nor can bring themselves to see in you.
Plemons’ usual understated brand of nervous acting aside – as good as it is – the film belongs to both Cumberbatch and Dunst. As adversaries there is a soap-ish quality to their feud and yet it rises above the essentials of bitterness into something horrid and inverted. Both Rose and Phil, are in a way, survivors, keen on surviving the cards life has dealt. While one chooses to hide, the other chooses to break down in plain sight. Either way, they play to the gallery, instruments that are expected and not those that are needed. The lack of an obvious form of sensuality, makes this film terse and tight, as if it is holding its breathe. Phil’s secrets are communicated well ahead of the climax and they make his performative toxicity that much more tragic and painful to absorb. Cumberbatch perfectly embodies a man yearning to let go, look the wolf in the eye, but in scenes where his insides evidently crumble he stands steadfast, as the tragic manifestation of an open and unforgiving secret – men do as men are expected to do here. Campion’s film finds the genre of the western a new language to speak in, where the violence enacted is mostly internal, its wounds, however, deeper, even terminal.

उत्तर प्रदेश चुनाव से ठीक पहले योगी सरकार अपने उस वादे को पूरी करने जा रही है, जो उनकी पार्टी ने पिछले 2017 के चुनाव से पहले किए थे। तब भाजपा ने कहा था कि सत्ता में आने के बाद वह युवाओं को निशुल्क स्मार्टफोन और टैबलेट देगी। अब सरकार की इसी महीने के दूसरे सप्ताह से इसको वितरण करने की योजना है। इसके लिए डीजी शक्ति नाम से एक पोर्टल बनाया गया है, जिसे जल्द ही मुख्यमंत्री योगी आदित्यनाथ लांच करेंगे। एक सरकारी बयान के मुताबिक इसी पोर्टल के माध्यम से स्मार्टफोन और टैबलेट का वितरण और छात्रों को भविष्य में पढ़ाई के लिए विषयवस्तु दी जाएगी। इसके अलावा स्मार्टफोन और टैबलेट के बारे में समय-समय पर छात्रों को उनके मोबाइल नंबर और मेल पर सूचना भी दी जाएगी।
समाजवादी पार्टी द्वारा भाजपा पर छात्रों को लैपटॉप और टैबलेट उपलब्ध कराने के चुनावी वादे को न पूरा करने के आरोपों के बीच सरकार यह कदम उठा रही है। सपा का कहना है कि मुख्यमंत्री (आदित्यनाथ) खुद लैपटॉप संचालित करने में असमर्थ हैं, इसलिये वह इसे बांटने में रुचि नहीं ले रहे हैं। सपा प्रमुख ने 29 अक्टूबर को अपने संसदीय क्षेत्र आजमगढ़ में इंटर-कॉलेज में आयोजित एक समारोह में कहा था, “अगर वह (आदित्यनाथ) लैपटॉप चलाना जानते होते, तो वह उन्हें पहले ही वितरित कर देते।”
2017 के विधानसभा चुनाव से पहले भाजपा ने की थी घोषणा:
यादव ने कहा था कि 2017 के उत्तर प्रदेश विधानसभा चुनाव में भाजपा के घोषणापत्र में कहा गया था कि आगे की पढ़ाई करने वाले छात्रों को मुफ्त डेटा के साथ लैपटॉप और टैबलेट कंप्यूटर दिए जाएंगे और उन संस्थानों में वाई-फाई कनेक्शन स्थापित किए जाएंगे। मंगलवार को जारी बयान के मुताबिक पंजीकरण से लेकर स्मार्टफोन और टैबलेट वितरण तक पूरी व्यवस्था निशुल्क है।
सरकार की ओर से स्मार्टफोन और टैबलेट की खरीद के लिए जेम पोर्टल पर अब तक का सबसे बड़ा टेंडर जारी किया गया है। 47 सौ करोड़ की लागत से खरीदे जाने वाले स्मार्टफोन और टैबलेट के लिए कई नामी कंपनियों ने टेंडर किया है। इसमें टैबलेट के लिए विशटल (आईरिस), सैमसंग (विजन) और एसर (सेलकॉन), स्मार्टफोन के लिए लावा, सैमसंग (सेलकॉन) और सैमसंग (यूनाइटेड) ने टेंडर दाखिल किया है।
तकनीकी जांच के बाद योग्य फर्मों की वित्तीय निविदा खोली जाएगी। बयान के मुताबिक टेंडर में चयनित कंपनियों को पहली खेप में कम से कम ढाई लाख टैबलेट की आपूर्ति करनी होगी। हालांकि स्मार्टफोन के लिए चयनित कंपनियों को पहली खेप में कम से कम पांच लाख स्मार्टफोन की आपूर्ति करनी होगी। इस वर्ष 23 अक्टूबर को,मुख्यमंत्री योगी आदित्यनाथ ने कहा था कि उनकी सरकार नवंबर के अंत तक युवाओं के बीच टैबलेट और स्मार्टफोन का वितरण शुरू कर देगी।
कोरोना वायरस के नए स्ट्रेन ओमिक्रोन को लेकर उतना ही भ्रम है जितना शुरू में कोविड के केस आने के बाद था। इसको लेकर अभी बहुत कुछ साफ नहीं हो पाया है। हालांकि WHO ने इस वायरस को ‘हाई रिस्क’ की श्रेणी में रखा है। अब तक के आंकड़ों के मुकाबले इस वायरस का प्रसार बहुत तेजी से होता है। इसके अलावा वैक्सीन की इम्युनिटी भी इसके सामने डेल्टा वैरिएंट की तुलना में कम प्रभावी है।
RTPCR के जरिए हो सकती है जांच?
इस वैरिएंट को फैलने से रोकने के लिए सभी देश अपने-अपने स्तर पर प्रयास में जुटे हुए हैं। WHO ने एक राहत की बात यह बताई है कि इस स्ट्रेन की भी जांच RT-PCR के जरिए संभव है। कई वैरिएंट ऐसे भी हैं जिनकी जांच केवल जेनेटिक सेक्वेंसिंग के जरिए ही हो पाती है। हालांकि ओमिक्रोन के मामले में ऐसा नहीं है।
वैरिएंट का पता लगाना मुश्किल!
कई जानकारों ने ‘द इंडियन एक्सप्रेस’ को बताया कि भारत में होने वाले ज्यादातर आरटी-पीसीआर हो सकता है कि ओमिक्रोन को न पहचान पाएं। अब तक भारत में इस तरह का कोई केस सामने नहीं आया है और न ही टेस्टिंग हुई है। जानकारों के मुताबिक आरटी-पीसीआर में इस बात की पुष्टि होती है कि व्यक्ति संक्रमित है या नहीं। इसमें वैरिएंट का पता लगाना मुश्किल होता है। वैरिएंट का पता लगाने के लिए जीनोम सिक्वेसिंग का ही सहारा लिया जाता है।
सतर्क हो गई हैं राज्य सरकारें
कोरोना के नए स्ट्रेन को लेकर राज्य सरकारें सावधान हो गई हैं। महाराष्ट्र सरकार ने फैसला किया है कि कुछ खास देशों से आने वाले यात्रियों को अनिवार्य रूप से सात दिन क्वारंटीन रहना होगा। क्वारंटीन होटल के लिए यात्रियों को भुगतान भी करना होगा। दूसरे, चौथे औऱ सातवें दिन सभी का आरटीपीसीआर टेस्ट किया जाएगा।
जांच और स्क्रीनिंग पर ज्यादाजोर
जिन एयरपोर्ट पर अंतरराष्ट्रीय उड़ानें आती हैं, वहां पर स्क्रीनिंग और जांच पर ज्यादा जोर दिया जाएगा। केंद्र सरकार ने अपनी गाइडलाइन में जांच में गंभीरता दिखाने के बात कही है। एयरपोर्ट पर 1200 से 1400 लोगों के बैठने की व्यवस्था की गई है ताकि लोग अपनी रिपोर्ट का इंतजार कर सकें। एयरपोर्ट अधिकारियों के मुताबिक एक घंटे में 600 सैंपल लिए जा सकते हैं।
स्वास्थ्य शोधकर्ताओं द्वारा तैयार किए गए एक आंकड़ों से पता चला है कि उत्तर प्रदेश के अयोध्या में पांच साल से कम उम्र के 50 फीसदी बच्चे कुपोषण का शिकार है। यह स्थिति अयोध्या में राम राज्य स्थापित करने के प्रयासों से एकदम उलट है। बता दें कि कुपोषण को लेकर तैयार किए गए चौकाने वाले एक नक्शे में पहली बार भारत के 3,941 विधानसभा क्षेत्रों में बाल कुपोषण के स्तर का अनुमान है।
वैसे अयोध्या भाजपा के लिए काफी अहम है। यह पार्टी के लिए राम मंदिर और हिंदुत्व के जरिए सत्ता तक पहुंचने में मददगार भी है। भाजपा के मुख्य केंद्र में होने के बाद भी अयोध्या में बच्चों के अविकसित होने का आंकड़ा 52.25 प्रतिशत है और निर्वाचन क्षेत्र में 3,870 की राष्ट्रीय रैंकिंग है। बता दें कि कुपोषण को लेकर इस नक्शे को हार्वर्ड स्कूल ऑफ पब्लिक हेल्थ, नीति आयोग और अन्य संस्थानों के शोधकर्ताओं द्वारा तैयार किया गया है।
कुपोषण की मार: कुपोषण से शारीरिक और मानसिक नुकसान होता है। बच्चों की उम्र के हिसाब से उनका कद छोटा होता है। कुपोषित होने की वजह से उनके बार-बार बीमार पड़ने की संभावना होती है। ऐसे में स्कूल में भी उनकी उपस्थिति कम होती है। उनके स्वास्थ्य संबंधी पुराने रोगों से पीड़ित होने की संभावना अधिक होती है।
कुपोषण के मामले में केरल: सामने आये तथ्यों में कुछ राज्यों में हालत आश्चर्यजनक, अस्पष्ट और स्पष्ट भिन्नताएं वाली हैं। उदाहरण के लिए भारत के शीर्ष 20 निर्वाचन क्षेत्रों में से 16 केरल से हैं। यहां सबसे कम अविकसित होने का मामला मिला है। जिसमें पहले स्थान पर पाला (18.02 प्रतिशत), दूसरे पर पुंजर (18.08 प्रतिशत) और तीसरे पर कोट्टायम (18.21 प्रतिशत) है। हालांकि इसमें शीर्ष 20 में चार मध्य प्रदेश के सबलगढ़, अंबा, दिमानी और मुरैना हैं।
टेलीग्राफ के मुताबिक हार्वर्ड विश्वविद्यालय में जनसंख्या स्वास्थ्य और भूगोल के प्रोफेसर एस वी सुब्रमण्यम जिन्होंने इस अध्ययन को करने वाली टीम का नेतृत्व किया, उन्होंने कहा कि उत्तर प्रदेश जैसे राज्यों के भीतर, देखने को मिला है कि विधानसभा क्षेत्र अच्छा कर रहे हैं और इसके विपरीत, केरल में कई निर्वाचन क्षेत्रों में इस मुकाबले तस्वीर इतनी अच्छी नहीं हैं।
उत्तर प्रदेश में हालत: उदाहरण के लिए, उत्तर प्रदेश में थाना भवन जिसकी राष्ट्रीय रैंक 90 है, कैराना 103 रैंक के साथ, पुरकाज़ी (रैंक 117) और खतौली (रैंक 119) विधानसभा क्षेत्रों में से प्रत्येक में अविकसित होने का स्तर 23 प्रतिशत से कम है। जोकि राज्य के औसत 44 प्रतिशत से काफी कम है।
बिहार में 80 से अधिक विधानसभा क्षेत्रों और उत्तर प्रदेश में 60 से अधिक में कुपोषण का स्तर 50 फीसदी से अधिक है। जिसमें अयोध्या भी शामिल है जहां बौनापन 52.25 प्रतिशत है।
बता दें कि आंध्र प्रदेश, कर्नाटक, केरल, तमिलनाडु और तेलंगाना में किसी भी विधानसभा क्षेत्र में बच्चों के अविकसित होने का स्तर 50 प्रतिशत से अधिक नहीं है।
उत्तर प्रदेश विधानसभा चुनाव से पहले बहुजन समाज पार्टी (बसपा) की अध्यक्ष और पूर्व मुख्यमंत्री मायावती ने मंगलवार को दावा किया कि राज्य में भाजपा सरकार से मुसलमान बेहद नाराज हैं। उन्होंने आरोप लगाया कि मुसलमानों को “फर्जी मामलों में फंसाया जा रहा है” और “नए नियमों और कानूनों” के माध्यम से भय की भावना पैदा की जा रही है।
मायावती ने यह आरोप मुस्लिम, जाट और अति पिछड़ा वर्ग (एमबीसी) समुदायों के पार्टी पदाधिकारियों की एक बैठक से पहले पत्रकारों से बात करते हुए लगाया, जिन्हें अनुसूचित जाति (एससी) के लिए आरक्षित 84 विधानसभा सीटों पर जिम्मेदारी सौंपी गई है। बैठक का आयोजन लखनऊ बसपा मुख्यालय में किया गया। पिछले महीने उन्होंने गैर-आरक्षित सीटों पर तैनात उन समुदायों के नेताओं की बैठक की थी।
यूपी की मौजूदा बीजेपी सरकार में खासकर धार्मिक अल्पसंख्यकों के मुसलमान हर मामले और हर स्तर पर परेशान दिखाई दे रहे हैं। इस सरकार में उनकी तरक्की रोक दी गई है और फर्जी मुकदमों में फंसाकर उन्हें परेशान किया जा रहा है। साथ ही नए नियमों और कानूनों से उनमें भय की भावना पैदा की जा रही है।
उन्होंने कहा, “यह स्पष्ट रूप से उनके प्रति भाजपा के सौतेले व्यवहार को दर्शाता है। दूसरी ओर, बसपा शासन के दौरान उनके जीवन की रक्षा की जाती थी, और उनकी प्रगति का भी ध्यान रखा जाता था।”
बसपा अध्यक्ष ने कहा कि सत्ता में आने के बाद उनकी पार्टी फिर से मुसलमानों, जाटों और अन्य पिछड़ा वर्ग (ओबीसी) के हितों और कल्याण का ख्याल रखेगी। मायावती ने दावा किया, “ओबीसी, जाट और मुस्लिम समुदाय के पार्टी पदाधिकारी छोटी-छोटी बैठकों में अपने समुदाय के लोगों को यह बता रहे हैं। नतीजतन, उन समुदायों के लोग पार्टी से जुड़ रहे हैं।”
केंद्र की जातिवादी मानसिकता को बताया ओबीसी जनगणना को नजरंदाज करने की वजह
पूर्व मुख्यमंत्री ने केंद्र पर अपनी “जातिवादी मानसिकता” के कारण जाति जनगणना की ओबीसी की मांग को नजरअंदाज करने का भी आरोप लगाया। उन्होंने आरोप लगाया कि केंद्र और राज्य की “जातिवादी” सरकारें नए नियम और कानून बनाकर आरक्षण नीति को अप्रभावी बनाने की कोशिश कर रही हैं। उन्होंने संवाददाताओं से कहा, “बसपा जाति जनगणना के लिए ओबीसी समुदाय की मांग का समर्थन करती है। जातिवादी मानसिकता के कारण, केंद्र मांग की अनदेखी कर रहा है।”
एक दिन पहले विपक्ष से 12 राज्यसभा सांसदों के निलंबन के बारे में पूछे जाने पर मायावती ने कहा कि सरकार को इस तरह का सख्त रुख नहीं अपनाना चाहिए और किसी भी मुद्दे को हल करने और सदन के सुचारू कामकाज को सुनिश्चित करने के लिए सांसदों से बात करनी चाहिए। उन्होंने संवाददाताओं से कहा, ‘सरकार को इस मामले में कड़ा रुख नहीं अपनाना चाहिए और बातचीत के जरिए मुद्दे का समाधान करना चाहिए। मामला पिछले संसद सत्र का है और अब शीतकालीन सत्र चल रहा है।
संसद के शेष शीतकालीन सत्र के लिए सांसदों को 11 अगस्त को मानसून सत्र के अंतिम दिन के दौरान उनके अनियंत्रित व्यवहार और कदाचार के लिए निलंबित कर दिया गया था।
कोरोना वायरस के नए वेरिएंट ओमिक्रोन का खौफ भारत में भी है। इन्हीं वजहों से दिल्ली के मुख्यमंत्री अरविंद केजरीवाल ने अंतरराष्ट्रीय उड़ानों को बंद करने की मांग उठाई है। अंतरराष्ट्रीय उड़ानों को बंद करने में हो रही देरी को लेकर अरविंद केजरीवाल मोदी सरकार पर भड़क उठे और कहा कि इसे करने में देरी क्यों की जा रही है, पहली वेव में भी यही गलती हुई थी।

हालांकि केंद्र सरकार ने भी 15 दिसंबर से इंटरनेशनल फ्लाइट्स पर बैन हटाने के अपने फैसले की समीक्षा करने का निर्णय लिया है। साथ ही इंटरनेशनल फ्लाइट से आने वाले यात्रियों की निगरानी और कोरोना के लिहाज से जोखिम वाले देशों से आने वाले यात्रियों की कड़ी स्क्रीनिंग और टेस्टिंग के आदेश भी दिए हैं। इंटरनेशनल फ्लाइट्स पर बैन की समीक्षा होने की वजह से फिलहाल सभी अंतरराष्ट्रीय उड़ानें चालू नहीं हो सकेंगी।
कोरोना वेरिएंट ओमिक्रोन का पहला मामला मिलने वाले दक्षिण अफ्रीका के भी फ्लाइट्स पर केंद्र सरकार ने रोक नहीं लगाई है। लेकिन सरकार ने एहतियातन तौर पर दक्षिण अफ्रीका समेत कई देशों को जोखिम वाले देशों की लिस्ट में शामिल किया है। इनमें बांग्लादेश, मॉरीशस, बोत्सवाना, जिम्बाब्वे, न्यूजीलैंड, साउथ अफ्रीका, ब्राजील, ब्रिटेन, सिंगापुर, हांगकांग और इजरायल शामिल हैं। इन देशों से आने वाली यात्रियों की टेस्टिंग अनिवार्य रूप से करने को कहा गया है।
नए कोरोना दिशा निर्देशों के अनुसार दिल्ली स्थित अंतरराष्ट्रीय हवाई अड्डे पर होंगे सभी जरूरी इंतजाम
वैश्विक स्तर पर कोरोना वायरस संक्रमण के नए स्वरूप वेरिएंट के कारण चिंता बढ़ने के बीच देश के सबसे बड़े इंदिरा गांधी अंतरराष्ट्रीय हवाई अड्डे ने सोमवार को कहा कि नए दिशा-निर्देशों और यात्रियों की सुविधा को ध्यान में रखते हुए सभी जरूरी इंतजाम समय पर किए जाएंगे। इसके अलावा, राष्ट्रीय राजधानी में आईजीआईए में कोविड-19 जांच करने वाली कंपनी परीक्षण करने की क्षमता में वृद्धि के साथ-साथ जल्द नतीजे प्रदान करने के लिए अपने कर्मचारियों की संख्या बढ़ाएगी। वहीं, हैदराबाद और बेंगलुरु सहित अन्य प्रमुख हवाई अड्डे भी ओमीक्रोन की चिंताओं के मद्देनजर उभरती स्थिति से निपटने के लिए प्रयासों में तेजी ला रहे हैं। सरकार ने रविवार को एक दिसंबर से प्रभावी होने वाले संशोधित दिशा-निर्देश जारी किए थे, जिसमें जोखिम वाले देशों से यात्रा करने वाले या वहां से होकर आने वाले यात्रियों को भारत पहुंचने पर आरटी-पीसीआर जांच कराना अनिवार्य किया गया था।
पंजाब के मुख्यमंत्री चरणजीत सिंह चन्नी सीएम बनने के बाद से लगातार कई बड़े फैसले ले चुके हैं। कैबिनेट में भी ये फैसले पास हो चुके हैं, लेकिन ज्यादातर फैसले अभी तक लागू नहीं हो पाए हैं।
एक रिपोर्ट के अनुसार पिछले 71 दिनों में चन्नी सरकार ने कई बड़े और महत्वपूर्ण फैसले लिए हैं। इन फैसलों को अगले चुनाव से जोड़कर भी देखा जा रहा है, लेकिन अब जो बातें सामने आ रही है, उसके अनुसार सिर्फ 8-9 फैसले ही अभी तक लागू हो पाए हैं। बाकी सभी फैसले अभी विभागीय स्तर पर ही रुके हुए हैं।
रुके हुए फैसलों में बिजली के दाम कम करना, नौकरी में रिजर्वेशन जैसे बड़े फैसले शामिल हैं। सच कहूं अखबार में छपी रिपोर्ट के अनुसार सीएम बनने के बाद चन्नी ने 12 कैबिनेट मीटिंगों में धड़ाधड़ 85 फैसले लिए थे। इन फैसलों से जनता को काफी उम्मीदें बंधी थीं। इन फैसलों को लेकर राज्य सरकार ने जोर-शोर से प्रचार भी किया था।
अब जब इन फैसलों को लागू करने होने के बारे पता किया तो सामने आया है कि 8-9 फैसले ही अभी तक लागू हो पाए हैं। जबकि बचे हुए 77 फैसले अभी भी रुके हुए हैं। इन रुके हुए फैसलों को लेकर विभाग कोई स्पष्ट जानकारी भी नहीं दे रहा है। इन फैसलों को लेकर चन्नी पर अब विपक्ष के साथ-साथ कांग्रेस के अपने भी सवाल उठाने लगे हैं।
पहले से ही अपनी ही सरकार के खिलाफ मोर्चा खोल चुके कांग्रेस प्रदेश अध्यक्ष नवजोत सिंह सिद्धू ने इन फैसलों को लेकर भी चन्नी पर निशाना साध रहे हैं। उन्होंने कहा था कि राज्य सरकार बिना बजट आवंटन के ही घोषणा कर रहे हैं। हालांकि इसके बाद भी अधिकारी इन फैसलों को लेकर सुस्ती ही दिखा रहे हैं।
बता दें कि पहले सिद्धू के साथ विवाद और फिर कांग्रेस के शीर्ष नेतृत्व के साथ विवाद के बाद कैप्टन अमरिंदर सिंह ने मुख्यमंत्री पद से इस्तीफा दे दिया था। जिसके बाद कांग्रेस ने चरणजीत सिंह चन्नी भर भरोसा जताया था। वहीं सिद्धू को पंजाब कांग्रेस का अध्यक्ष पद दिया गया था।
Sony and Marvel Studios have given an early Christmas gift to Spidey fans. The third film in MCU’s Spider-Man franchise, No Way Home, will hit Indian theatres one day earlier now, on 16 December.
No Way Home promises to be the biggest MCU film since 2019’s Avengers: Endgame. It deals with the multiverse, and the supervillains from earlier franchises led by Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield, Doctor Octopus (Alfred Molina), Electro (Jamie Foxx), Green Goblin (Willem Dafoe), Sandman (Thomas Haden Church), and Lizard (Rhys Ifans) can be seen in the trailers.

Fans are also speculating that along with supervillains, Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield’s versions of Spiderman will come to an aid To Tom Holland’s Peter, but we are sure that makers are in for some interesting surprises in the movie itself.
The film will also feature appearances from Benedict Cumberbatch as Doctor Strange, Jacob Batalon as Ned Leeds and Marisa Tomei as Aunt May.
The synopsis read, “For the first time in the cinematic history of Spider-Man, our friendly neighborhood hero is unmasked and no longer able to separate his normal life from the high-stakes of being a Super Hero. When he asks for help from Doctor Strange the stakes become even more dangerous, forcing him to discover what it truly means to be Spider-Man.”
Helmed by Jon Watts, the film is written by Chris McKenna and Erik Sommers and is produced by Kevin Feige and Amy Pascal. The film is based on Marvel Comic book by Stan Lee and Steve Ditko.

Stand-up comedian Munawar Faruqui on 28 November suggested that he may not do any more shows, after his scheduled show in Bengaluru was cancelled amid protest by the Hindu right-wing outfits who alleged that the artist had hurt the Hindu sentiments in one of his shows.
He was supposed to perform at the Good Shepherd Auditorium in Bengaluru Sunday. However, the Bengaluru Police asked the organisers to call off the show titled Dongri to Nowhere citing “law and order” issues. Planned shows in Mumbai and Gujarat over the last two months were also cancelled over threats of vandalism from members of the fringe outfit Bajrang Dal.

Munawar Faruqui is an Indore-based stand-up comedian. The 30-year-old performer reportedly hails from Gujarat’s Junagadh.

Munawar Faruqui’s 12 shows got cancelled in two months over alleged threats of vandalism. Soon after his Bengaluru Police asked the organisers to call off the show titled Dongri to Nowhere citing “law and order” issues, the stand-up comedian hinted that he will quit comedy.

In a social media post, Faruqui said, “Nafrat jeet gayi, artist haar gaya (hate has won, artist has lost). I’m done, goodbye. Injustice.” He added, "My name is Munawar Faruqui. And that's been my time, you guys were (a) wonderful audience. Good bye, I'm done," he said.
"Putting me in jail for the joke I never did to cancelling my shows which has nothing problematic in it. This is unfair. This show has gained so much love from people in India irrespective of their religion. This is unfair (sic)" he added in his Twitter statement.
Earlier on 1 January, he was arrested for allegedly making objectionable remarks about Hindu deities and Union Home Minister Amit Shah during a show in Indore on New Year’s Day. Soon after the show, Eklavya Singh Gaud, son of BJP MLA Malini Laxman Singh Gaud, had filed a complaint against Faruqui and others. Faruqui was then arrested under various sections of the Indian Penal Code, including section 295-A which deals with deliberate and malicious acts, intended to outrage religious feelings of any class.
